Laserforce!

Are you the ultimate warrior? Is THIS guy the ultimate warrior?

Find out at Laserforce on Friday. get dropped off at VACC at 7pm and picked up from VACC at 10pm. During the night we'll be driving in leader's cars to Laserforce in Wooloongabba where we can shoot each other with laser guns, hang out and watch that cheesey intro video.

Wear clothes you can move about in, but remember that it gets hot in there. Bring a bottle of water too because drinks there are way expensive.

The cost is $22 for 3 games if you are under 15 years old, and $26 for 3 games if you're over 15.

NOTE: We have to cater for numbers in cars. If you didn't put your name down last week to come to Laserforce, we don't have a seat in a car for you. If you still want to come ring Mike at the church on 3219 6700 and he might be able to find a seat for you.

Guns at the ready

Before FNL and Small groups we are launching a full-scale NERF WAR.

So if you own a nerf gun, or a few nerf guns, please bring them along to use for the night. Don't bring any darts, one80 will suply the darts, and they've been modified to fit any nerf gun. If you don' own a nerf gun don't rush out to buy one, we have about 15 to lend out.

Everyone will need to bring eye protection. We will have some eye gear for you to borrow, but if you can please bring your own- safety goggles, a face shield, a scuba mask, a motorbike helmet- whatever you want, be creative!

Also, there is a dress theme- Future Warriors. What does that mean? Well, that's open for interpretation. Think Halo, Ironman, Mad Max, Steampunk, CyberPunk, Star Wars...whatever you think it means. Have fun with it!
Remember, you don't have to dress up, but it does make it more fun, and there will be some prizes for best dressed.

So guys, we'll see you at VACC this Friday night, 7.30-10pm, ready for action.

Guess the Junk Competition

We're running a little competition here at one80ym. It's a little bit like the old "Guess the number of jellybeans" game you used to pay a dollar to enter at the school fete.

All you have to do is take a good long look at our header, and guess how many different objects make up the O-N-E-8-0 in our header. To enter, submit your answer go to the one80 facebook page and submit your answer under the Competition heading. The person who submits the closest guess is the winner.


First prize is a Nerf Gun!

Second prize is a Superball, the greatest bouncey ball known to man.

The competition closes 10pm Thursday the 10th of February, and the winners will be announced at the one80 Nerf night on Friday the 11th of February.

Conditions:
- Entry is only open to current one80 students and leaders.
- A maximum of 2 entries per person.
- In the event that two participants enter the same number, the first entry will only be accepted. The second entry will be deemed invalid and the entrant will be notified.
- In the event that your entry is deemed invalid, an entrant may submit a new entry.

ONE80 IS BACK!

For our first night back this term we'll be catching up after the holidays, hanging out, playing some games, as well as making and eating our own pizzas. The cost is $4, which will go towards the pizz ingredients. Canteen will be open for all your sugar cravings.
