Term 3 kicks off tonight at one80, and you can expect big things. We have a bonfire, commando games (at last), all nighter, infiltration, plus a healthy dose of action-packed games and engaging small group times.

The Easter Experience

This Friday night at one80 we're going to be looking at Easter, and what it means for Christians. Get dropped off at the church at 7.30pm and picked up at 10pm. There is no cost.

Hey, just chill

This Friday night at one80 is chillout night, where there will be plenty of things for you to do. You can be as active or as relaxed as you want. There'll be sports, creative projects and stuff to make, places to chat, games to play, as well as some super awesome refreshments like milkshakes, cookies, coffees and lollies.

So get down to one80 this Friday night, 7.30pm-10pm at the church.

Hey one80 guys and girls!
This Friday night at one80 we've got games, Friday Night Live and small groups. Get dropped off at the church at 7.30pm, and picked up at 10pm. There is no cost, but canteen will be open to cater to your sugary cravings.

Small Group Night

This Friday night is small group night. Each small group is doing something, and your small group leaders have been working hard to put together something special for your group this Friday night. You should have received a flyer from your leader at the newspaper night about what you are doing. If not, please contact your small group leader directly. If you don't know who your leader is, or you don't have their contact details, call Mike at the church on 3219 6700.

Black and white games

This Friday at one80 we’re doing games, Friday Night Live and small groups, but we have a special BLACK AND WHITE theme, so make sure you dress in black and white, in a creative and fun way. There may even be prizes for best dressed.

We talk about the big issues

Tonight at one80 we will be looking at what God has to say about the difficult issue of abortion. Due to the graphic nature of some of the discussions we will be having, and the confronting video we will be watching, we are asking parents to carefully consider if this subject is suitable for their child. If you have any questions please contact Mike at the church.
One80 will be at the regular time, 7.30pm-10pm at VACC.

Wet n Wild

Next weekend we are going to Wet n Wild. This Friday night is the last one80 night you can hand in your form and money. Here are some details, just in case you missed them.

Meet at church at 9am, and get picked up from the church at 6pm. We will be travelling in leaders’ cars to and from Wet n Wild.
You will needs togs (obviously), towel, sunscreen of your own, and a water bottle. We will provide lunch and afternoon tea as part of your entry cost, but you’re welcome to bring chips, lollies and other snacks from home too.
You must hand your form AND MONEY to Vicki by Sunday 19^th February. Places are limited.
$35 will cover your entry and lunch. If you already have a season pass, it will just cost you $5 (for lunch and transport).

Prepare to get smashed

It’s time to get rough and rowdy! This Friday night at one80 we’ll be pulling out all the punches as we bring you “Biffo Games.” This will be followed by Friday Night Live and small groups. Get dropped off at the church at 7.30pm, and picked up at 10pm. It’s absolutely free, but canteen will be open for all your sugary cravings.

Also, if you plan to come to Wet n’ Wild with us next Saturday, you need to hand your $35 AND permission form. Remember, the numbers are limited by how many cars we have available, so get in quick!

What's a chair rally?

Tonight one80 is holding a special event called the “Chair Rally,” a team competition that involves exploring some of the local streets of Coopers Plains with some of your friends and a leader. Sounds weird? Well, isn’t that half the reason you come to one80? Get dropped off at the church at 7.30pm, and picked up at 10pm. We’ll be finishing off the night with free hot dogs too! Feel free to bring some extra change and spend up the canteen.
Please remember to wear comfy, sensible shoes, as we’ll be walking a few kilometres over the course of the night.

One80 is back!

One80 is finally back after the long holiday break, and we’re going to kick things off with a stack of fun games, as well as making and eating our own pizza. Get dropped off at the church at 7.30pm and picked up at 10pm. We’ll be hanging out, playing some games, hearing about Jesus and meeting up with small groups. Please bring $4, as this will help us cover the costs of pizza.

All Nighter!

This Friday Night is our annual ALL-NIGHTER. 7:30pm Friday to 8am Saturday, $5, bring pillows, doonas, sleeping bags, games consoles/controllers/games, if you want a One80 shirt bring a plain coloured t-shirt. canteen will be open all night for those much needed sugar hits.

Please DO NOT bring any energy drinks. Please DO get picked up on time as another group has the hall booked just after 8am. Please DO NOT expect to get much sleep.

This Friday we're talkin about drugs

This Friday @ One80 Youth Ministry we're looking at how to make wise choices when it comes to the issues of drugs and alcohol. 7.30-10pm at VACC.

When life hurts most

This Friday Night we're watching part 1 of the next Louie Giglio DVD called "Hope When Life Hurts Most". Louie will be looking at the reality of suffering and where God is when it feels like our world is being torn to pieces.
$2 will help cover some post-DVD supper.

One80 is still on this Friday...sort of

Friday night

Watoto African Children's Choir will be performing at VACC this Firday night. It starts at 7pm, but we're expecting a large crowd so you'll want to arrive somehwere around 6:30pm to get a seat. If you want to help with parking we would really appreciate it, just come down at about 6:15pm. Get picked up between 8:30pm and 9pm.

Saturday

Commando games is on again!
Meet at the end of Elizabeth St Woodridge at 10am and get picked up again at 3pm. Wear long pants, and if possible wear clothes that will help you blend in to the bush. If you don't have any clothes like that, there will be some for you to borrow.
Bring your own lunch and AT LEAST 1 litre of water to drink.

Gladiators, are you ready?

This Friday is Gladiator Games...come to one80 prepared for some fast, rough, high intensity games. Friday Night Live and small groups will be thrown in too!

We're back for term 3!

Come along to one80 this Friday night and catch up with your mates after the holidays. This week we'll be taking a bit of a look at the topics of welath, poverty, and social justice.
One80 is on from 7.30-10pm at VACC, and canteen will be on. Cyas there!

Progressive Dinner

We are walking on over to a few different homes to get a feed, progressive style. We will be meeting at Church at 6.30pm (a little early) and will be walking to a different house for each course of our meal.
Please make sure you wear comfy shoes and bring a jacket (its a bit chilly out). Tonight will cost $4 to cover the yummy food.
You will need to get your parents to collect your from the Lerches house at 10pm. Please call Mike or your small group leader to grab the address.
Bring your mates along for a great night of munching!
This Friday is the last one to get your camp form to Vicki. Get in quick because places are quite limited this year. Camp is something you just dont want to miss!

Box Games

This Friday night we are boxing you in, getting you to tick a box, having a boxing match, celebrating Boxing Day early and doing some boxercise. It's all about boxes and it's going to be crate! Box games, FNL and small groups.

If you have a cardboard box or two or three you can add to our pile, that would be excellent. Just bring them along and we'll tape them up.

Canteen will be on afterwards, which is sugar that comes out of a box!
