The Amazing Race

This Friday is an early start and late finish, because we simple want to make this night last as long as we can! It will be AMAZING! The race will kick off at 7pm and wrap up at 10.30. Start and Finish lines are at VACC.

You will be travelling to various destinations, some on foot, some in leaders cars. Wear good walking shoes and clothes you can run in.

Come along for the challenge and some AMAZING prizes, make sure you bring your mates, because no one should miss this!!!

Cost : $2 to help cover the cost of the race.

A big weekend at one80

This Friday night one80 the boys and girls will be split to spend some time apart, but this Sunday night we have a special event on at church for all of you. Here are all the details:


BOYS

The blokes will be meeting at VACC at 6pm and travelling in leader's cars to Kenmore Baptist, 74A Kenmore Rd., Kenmore. We're attending an event called Fight Night, run by a Victorian Ministry called Roundabout Ministries, and is run by a guy named Adrian Rowse. The night focuses on sexual purity. Adrian and the guys openly talk about pornography, sexual addictions and sexual issues guys face. Unfortunately there is an age restriction of 13 years of age that Roundabout Ministries has set, due to the nature of the content discussed tonight, so if you're under 13 boys, sorry but one80 is not for you tonight. This is a ticketed event, so if you haven't told Mike your coming, call him TODAY and ask him if you can come because this is gunna be a powerful night. We're asking you guys to pay $10 for the night, but if you can't spare that right now don't let that stop you, on80 is happy to shout you, just let us know.
Just let your parents or whoever is picking you up know we won't be back at church until 10.30-11pm.

GIRLS

You will be meeting at VACC at 7.30pm and travelling in leader's cars to Cannon Hill Ten Pin Bowling (31 Propiety St., Tingalpa) to have some fun without the boys to cramp your style. 2 games and shoe hire will set you back $16.95. Get picked up again at VACC at 10pm.

SUNDAY NIGHT

We have the pleasure of hosting Adrian Rowse of Roundabout Ministries at VACC this Sunday night. Adrian will be speaking at our 6pm evening church service on the topic of Purity in a Pornographic World. This is a topic that has not received much attention in the church in recent years, but is a serious problem for many people, particuarly for young people. Come along and be encouraged and empowered to combat impurity, lust and pornography in your life and the lives of those you love. This guy is a powerful and interesting speaker, and I encourage all of you to come along, and bring your friends and even your parents if you want to.

Romanopoly

This Friday night is Romanopoly! It's not really like Monopoly, but the opoly makes it sound kool! Bring a toga (sheet) to wear over your clothes to go Roman style (over your clothes, not as a replacement of, we can't stress that enough to some of you).

Come to win/loose and have a good time. 7.30-10pm at vacc, cyas there!

TERM 4!?!

Hello...October? already?

Well one80 kids it's time to kick off term 4 at one80. This term we're going to be pulling out some old games and trying out some new ones, when we have our games and FNL.

This Friday we'll be catching up after the holidays, hangin out, eating lollies and playing some sweet games. It's the usual time, 7.30-10pm at VACC, and canteen ready to go.
